General Description:
• Ensure incoming materials meet the required specifications and standards through examination and precise measurement tools.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, noting deviations or defects found to ensure traceability and quality control.
Main Duties:
• Conduct the goods inwards inspections for incoming materials as per the defined daily list.
• Utilizing various measurement tools such as callipers, micrometres, and electronic inspection equipment to measure product dimensions.
• Monitor and maintain the quality inspection dashboard and the moulding inspection log.
• Communicate identified defects promptly to internal and external stakeholders and collaborate on corrective actions for timely resolution.
• Develop effective processes to optimise the inspection process and enhance product quality assurance.
Ancillary Duties:
Ability to complete end of line inspections as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a quality inspector in the manufacturing sector.
• Certification in quality control is preferred.
• Strong dimensional analysis skills with the ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
